RetireAt21.com takes an approach few have thought of when it comes to blogging, the owner Michael has brought together a group of individuals such as Ahson Rafiq, Dean Hunt, Barry Dunlop and of course Michael Dunlop himself!

With such big names contributing to the blog on a regular basis you will never be left empty with info relating to making money online. Not only does RetireAt21.com basically just tell you how to make money online they also offer up hundreds of tips relating to improving your blog and increasing readership.

As you can probably tell I am smitten by the RetireAt21.com site and the info they give out on their site and blog. But additionally to their blog RetireAt21.com has a user forum with over 1,700 members and nearing 5,000 posts as we speak!

As a forum owner I can concur with the feeling Mike must be feeling at this point with his forum and the growth it has achieved in such a short time spam. The forum offers up excellent tips and helpful resources that they just cannot cover in a blog post.

You will be doing yourself a favor if you sign-up to the forum and begin posting today! I also suggest you subscribe to his blog feed as you will not only receive the daily blog post tips that they offer up but you will also receive a copy of his “FREE Secrets to Making Money Online Ebook” that is simply worth 100’s of dollars which you are getting for free!

So we have talked about his blog and those that blog regularly with him, the user forum and a couple other things. But what about the blog design and how he has monetized it thus far.

As you can see from the screenshot above, they have a stunning design that is very unique and well worth a look. When it comes to monetizing a blog ads in the right places are very important. Mike has done an excellent job placing his ads, especially the 125 x 125 ads on his side bar. They look tight and the placement is near perfect. I have no complaints with mikes blog in this regard.

Another great feature that Mike has implemented to his blog which I started doing some time back, he has interviewed some of the biggest names in the SEO and blogging industries! He has interviewed the greats such as Aaron Wall, Stuart Wright and Rand Fishkin to name just a few. His interviews are in depth and worth reading if you want to find some nuggets of gold from those who have a lot of wisdom in there areas of expertise.

All in all the RetireAt21.com blog is worth reading and signing up to if you need help learning to make money online or just improving your own skills as a blogger. Thank you Mike for the opportunity to review your great blog and offer up my opinion on your blog. Its an awesome resource that I hope everyone of my readers looks at and learns from!

Increase RSS Subscribers, Socials

Increase RSS Subscribers #1 Tip – Socials

The first tip I would like to talk about for increasing your subscriber count is simple. Traffic yields more subscribers, so we first need to look at ways to increase our traffic to a decent amount in the shortest amount of time as possible.

When it comes to traffic marketing people often ask how they can get a boost of traffic and fast, but what they don’t understand is although getting a short boost of traffic is nice at times you need to be here for the long haul and be ready for traffic droughts. The search engines like sites that stick it out even when they don’t have that great of traffic, I have seen this on a few of my own sites including this blog. Google has put some importance on my sites which are just slow and steady.

Good guys aside, there are some aggressive techniques to use, these take dedication and time daily to ensure you get what you’re after! I have said it before, and I am sure I will say it again. Social Bookmarks are a great source of relative traffic to your website or blog. When we talk about social bookmarks it may benefit you more to get on a subject specific (to your blog) bookmark site then a general youngsters site like Digg.com.

The first thing I would do is search for a relative bookmark site in your niche, just go to google and type something like (my keyword, social bookmarks)

If it brings up no results then try looking for a specific category on sites like Digg and StumbleUpon for your website. The more relative listing you get the more relative your traffic will be which will yield the best RSS signup conversions.

So let’s break that down into a simpler list that we can understand!

1. Search Google For: (my keyword, social bookmarks)
2. If None Exists, Look For Relative Category In Bigger Social Sites
3. Submit site to whichever social sites are the most relative because they yield the most relevant traffic and better signup rates.

With this 1 tip your traffic will increase and hopefully you will get some more signups through your hard work. But one thing we must not forget is learning how to get our new found traffic to read our blog and signup to it. If we don’t make it plainly obvious that we want them to sign up they will just bookmark the site themselves and come back when they have time. But if you push them into subscribing, the updates are sent directly to their inbox and they can’t possibly forget you!

What about you, have you experimented with this technique? What results have you gained from using it? Tell us below by commenting!
