Its a small list but these are the current ways I actually make money online. I believe with a little practice you can make money the same way and I believe you will be happy with the income you generate.

It really just comes down to how you look at success and how much money is enough money. For me there is never enough but I have learned not to expect so much from people and rather expect more from myself because after all I really only can control myself. Not Others!

Next is the fun part, its time to list the actual ad spots you have available and the price for each advertisement per month. In the past I have talked about 45n5’s top 100 blog list. I have given you updates where I stood and how some of my buds blogs are doing. I have some more good news in this regard… IBB is currently sitting at number 69! This is great because we are actually in the top 100 list not outside of it like when we started.

This got me thinking… How can this be used to teach others for improving there own blogs and moving up the top bloggers list in the blogosphere.

Well like anything else starting early rather then late is always an up side, however you may just be starting to blog and although there are lots of other bloggers out there it is possible to make great gains in short periods of time without hassle.

Here are a few key things you can do to ensure your blog is known as one of the best!

Build Consistent Steady REAL Traffic: Lets face it, traffic is the name of the game if you want to ever sell adverts on your blog. Learn to build real good consistent traffic, you can do that by telling friends and family and perhaps sending out a chain letter about your site!

Write Unique Content That Sticks To The Brain: Content is king and links are queen in the seo world and this is no different, when building a first class blog you need first class content for people to read. After your readership grows you can start slacking off a bit and still make it big coz your readers get to you know early on.

Be Consistent In Building Your Blog: I see so many bloggers start off strong but then fade away because they fail to follow through later on. Instead learn to build your blog and continue building it even in the tough times, you have to get over that hump somehow and this is the way! BE CONSISTENT

Alright, Alright, So I got the tag line from the Dark Night movie but hey if it works run with it right? People are so worried about being classified as a certain type of writer or blogger, I really don’t understand what the big deal is.

If your good at something why not let that be your speciality? I mean here at IBB we are dedicated to teaching you how to make money online while providing free domain and blogging tips for hundreds of different reasons.

We have even touched on SEO a couple times and word press to boot. Yet our name is still known for MMO and Blogging mainly. Why is that? Simple! We wanted it to be…

I guess what I am trying to say is this, if you want to be a certain type of blogger or person then perhaps you should start thinking like what your wanting to be in order for the transition to take affect in your daily routine.

Ever heard the saying “Fake it till you Make it?” the same principle applies to this. If you can stay stead fast and keep on keeping on eventually you will get to where and what you want to be all about with your blogging.

Don’t let others distract or discourage you simply because they have an opinion. Its time to shake loose all those people who drag you down and find a new way, your way a better way!

As I am sure most of you know my domains were taken from me about a week and a half ago and IBB was down for over a week while we waited for GoDaddy to get the names back for us.
In todays post I want to talk about how it happened a little bit and then show you what I learned out of this whole ordeal so that hopefully this never happens to you because believe me nobody wants to go through this so do what it takes now to make sure your safe and secure!

Since I lost my domains I want to talk about that a little bit, somehow this person got a keylogger onto my pc and then stole my GoDaddy account info and transferred all the domains out to another GoDaddy account.

Basically I am going to continue the story here…

As it all comes down I did finally get nearly all my important domains back (still waiting on 4 of them) but other then that I got my fathers site, IBB and Bz back as well as POB which is another great source for mmo / blogging tips!

Through the whole proccess I learned one very important thing and that one thing is… MAKE SURE YOUR SECURE SO THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO YOU!

I never thought it would happen to me and I was on the net 10+ years never having a problem like this. With that said I have learned my lesson and I won’t be making that mistake again for the rest of my life. If something like this ever happens again it won’t be because of anything I did not do I assure you!

So first things first, make sure you have the following done and be sure to print this list out if your note sure so you can check em off. Its the same list I talked about on Gnets Blueverse blog but they are the vital things you need if you want to be secure. 

1. Make sure you use different passwords for every site you’re a member of, that includes GoDaddy and any other registrar out there. Do it just to be safe! 
2. Secondly make sure you buy privacy policy / the domain ownership  secure feature on all your important domains. Nearly every registrar has it and its impossible to hack I hear without doing tons of ground work that nobody is going to take the time to do!
3. Install the best security / antivirus program available, second best simply won’t do if you want to be secure. I am now using ESet NOD32 and it’s rated the best around! It is expensive but worth it I assure you!
4. Reformat your pc leaving nothing left on it, just be sure to put the files which you have backed up back on the machine. This way no hidden KeyLoggers can be found and or create future leaks.

The list is small and simple but thats all you really have to do, in fact if I had done #3 6 months ago none of this would have happened to me. Yes I accept full responsibility because it was my job to make sure that all our pcs had such programs on them that actually work. I didn’t and because of it I lost a couple hundred dollars myself and who knows how much damage it has done to my fathers business, praying for none but you never know.
