I am sure nearly all of you have heard of UBD because of the infamous JohnChow blog of which his theme was created by UBD. Well UBD has now been open for business for 1 year and they are running a contest and giving out some great prizes!

How To Enter

Alright so as you all know I have sort of been taking a break from blogging, things were getting so hectic that I needed some time off to think and I am still doing that, however I wanted to update you all on whats going on with me, this blog and what I have planned.

Obviously its tough to take time off from such a great blog like this but I really need the time off and at this point I have not missed it so much because keeping up with you all is extremely tough.

It would help if you guys would comment more on the blog.. And that brings me to my first important news subject, the page rank update.

If you all kept track when IBB was down about 3 weeks ago we had lost our page rank entirely. Then all of a sudden last week we went back to a page rank of 4! This made me really happy because I am hoping it will encourage you all to comment more since its a good strong pr link from me to you.

I have already noticed 4 or 5 more comments since the pr went up and I had not even said anything to you all yet :). I find it a bit strange that the pr updated like that in the middle of the cycle but I am happy about it!

Next on the list of stuff to talk about is the fact that I am taking time off, I would gladly come back but I am still wondering if I should even continue to run IBB. Not that I don’t love doing it but at this point the blog is not making enough income for me to keep it going, not when I can make 2-500 a shot building sites through my new SitesWeDo company.

Its not even really about the money, its more about you guys and if you all would become more active by commenting and telling others to signup to our blog then I could start releasing some kick butt content that all of you would want… I cant do that though without some motivation and all of you are my motivation.

Well that about sums it up, think about what I said and if you want me to bring some cool stuff to you then you need to help out and start commenting and telling others to join this blog! There I said it now go do it!

First off I want to thank all my subscribers for continuing to come back and read what I have to say on a regular basis! I love all of you and hope everyone gets success!

First off I do want to alert you all that I will have a new video coming up here in the next day or so for all of you to see. I am still working over the details as to what I want the video to be about but I know you all will love it. I may rehash an old video idea but we will see when the time comes

While we wait for that I wanted to alert you all of some changes I have made to the advertising prices here on IBB. Although we have sold out spots for several months running I went ahead and lowered the price in hopes that I can actually generate more revenue.

I have now made it so my 125 x 125 slots are only $25.00/mo which is a great price considering the blog has over 500 real rss subscribers! I have also noticed a boost in traffic over the last couple of days and I am about to install a new plugin to the blog which should help us get even more traffic!

I know writing a blog post can vary depending on what your niche is about but I was wondering how long on average it takes you to write a blog post?

It might also help if you all tell us what niche you write about so we can see if there is any similar results between the same niches.

Over the last week or so I have received at least 10 comments that I have deleted in regards to my blog faking how many rss readers I really have.

I think its about time to stop the nay-sayers so today I want to talk about FeedCompare.com. Its a service that lets you compare how many rss readers someone really has. Obviously if I truly was faking my rss numbers the graph would not show how many I have been getting.

I also went through my subscribers list and deleted any emails that looked suspicious, in fact one person put over 150 of there own emails into my list and that’s why it boasted 700+ I have deleted those so you all could see the real true accurate numbers which are now displayed on my site.

I hope this clears the air and I hope you all understand now what is going on.

I am here for the long haul and I don’t plan on selling unless I get one really good offer and even then I may turn it down. If you have any questions or comments please do let me know, im always happy to help whenever I can!

Secondly in the comments about the subscriber counts they also mentioned the fact that my blog does not get enough comments to warrant how many rss readers I have. I agree and am puzzled as to why more people do not comment. I believe its because my page rank dropped after the domain stolen fiasco that happened a couple weeks back but I don’t know.
