So you all know that I have been trying to be more selective with my reviews right? Well today we are looking at a site that to put it simply is UGLY. I don’t know what these guys were thinking when they designed it but someone needs a good fresh bucket of water poured on their heads…

Anyways, the site we are looking at is TSS-Radio.com and they sell a lot of SIRIUS Outdoor antennas, the products seem to be good its just the site design that would turn me away instantly.

Below is a screenshot of the site with arrows point to the areas I hate or that need work.

As you can see the first arrow is pointing to the left hand side menu. Before I get to that though I want to go on record by saying that dark grey and dark blue DO NOT MIX! Light grey and blue does but not Dark Grey…

Secondly the top header is just all messed up, its all cluttered with useless info and the shopping cart information barely fits in the box they gave it. Overall a poor design and bad design taste…

Thirdly and lastly the blue fade separation bars on the design, they are decent looking I guess but they again don’t match the dark grey colors at all. Another poor judgement by the designer!

I hope you all learn from these guys mistakes, I find it easier to learn when I’m what not to do as well as some of what to do you know?

Last week, or was it two weeks ago? I told you all that I finally got a video camera and that I would have new videos for everyone soon. To my dismay that did not happen, it turns out that JVC camera I bought did not work at all with my pc or mac.

I finally had enough and started hounding Apple and the Apple Support Forums to see if I could find a solution, after 4 days of doing this and getting no where I finally talked to Apple on the phone and they showed me on there website what cameras I could buy that would work with Imovie HD as I hate Imovie 08, it has like no editing features at all…

I went ahead and ordered my Canon ZR930 Camcorder from Amazon with next day delivery. It should be here tomorrow, I will be testing it with Imovie straight away and hopefully have a video up by the end of this week for all of you guys!

I just ask that you be patient a bit longer, rest assured I am working my best to get this done because I know you all like the vids and remember to comment on these posts so we can hear what you have to say!

Site Updates & News

The last two weeks have been pretty bad for me unfortunately. I have been trying to get a camera that actually will work so I can do my blog vids that all of you tell me you love. Unfortunately my mac with imovie is acting up and none of the new cameras I bought (2 of them) have worked, one worked for one day and then it stopped as well. I have the guys at Apple confused and they have no clue either which stinks because I really need the video portion to work.

Aside from that I have just been chugging along and passing up money left and right because you all don’t want to see my reviews when I post them. I may have a solution for that though, what I may do is create a way so that the reviews are only seen as snippets on the homepage that way you can easily by pass them if you want to and get to the content.

The reviews are how this blog is making its money though so I have a feeling we will go back to them just in a more organized and specific manner. However until I figure out what to do everything will stay as it is.

That’s all I got to say about updates for the week oh and expect a contest starting November 1st! GET READY!
