I have been seeing a lot of people make the same mistakes via vlogging lately and I thought a post on the subject outlining the 5 most common ones I see was a good idea. Hope you enjoy it!
5. Bad Titles – The main one I see people making is the titles they are choosing for there videos. Sometimes they put there name on the title or even a un-related name. These videos are either banned or are never viewed once word gets around about the title being misleading.
4. Description Link – I see a lot of people putting there link in the description of there videos which is good but they are not putting the http:// so people can easily click the link. Never forget the http:// on your url in YouTube because it wont be a live link if you dont!
3. No Play lists – Why haven’t you created a couple play lists to help your subscribers find relevant videos? Play lists are powerful and worth creating, comment below if you dont know how and I will make a post on it for you!
2. No Custom Channel Design – You should customize your own Channel so its all yours and one of a kind! I did one for the PixelForLife YouTube Channel and it helped us!

Not olny bad titles but bad video/audio can kill a vlog. I have seen a few vlogs that had horrible production value. Another thing i have noticed is really loud music and long intros/ endings.

You want time to do your research. Find out references and talk to other parents who have kids at this facility. Make a list ahead of time of what questions to ask. What things are important to you? You want to interview the person who is in charge and talk to one of the teachers, but also, see if you can drop in to observe. You shouldn’t have to be taken on a carefully guarded, escorted tour of the facility.

To get started you must have an idea or, a spark of an idea or, a little bit of curiosity. It doesn’t take much. Produce a few minutes of video by using a digital camera or a still camera with ‘movie’ feature, edit it or don’t and post it online and see what happens is more the rule of thumb. Sure, it can be grandiose with corporate advertising, field reporters, proper credits and a script. Your vlog can also be ‘home-video’ style entertainment of you sitting in your bedroom eating a bowl of cereal. The numbers don’t lie- people want to see the intimate details of other people’s lives.

The biggest problem with the article is the title. Title must be attractive so that it can draw the attention for the users but not so. It is not so user friendly.

Simple tips but I agree especially to number 1 and 4. These are the ones I forget the most. As for the tags, I think what you can do is to research first for the keywords on Google adwords, then save a copy on notepad so you can just copy paste it whenever you’re asked for tags and keywords.

Quality is also key in Vlogging. I saw a Vlog by Sean Collins where he did a crappy version on “Cribs” and it was terrible, not to mention the fact it looks like he likes in his mothers basement.
