Who Am I?

Hey guys,

First of all if you don’t already know my name is Shannon Lilly, I have been doing website design and seo for the past 10 years of my life. I am currently 20 years old and I love to help others get success as I continue to improve myself! I learn everything I possibly can and I work hard to get where I know I am capable of being. I currently live just outside of San Antonio, Tx in a small town called Helotes, Tx.

Before I go anyfurther into my story I just want to say that the success of this blog is only possible by the grace of God my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He makes it possible for me to keep this blog up and make an income off of it. Thank you Lord for giving me the talent to be a leader and teacher in this industry.

How did I start?

When I was 10 years old we got our first computer and I instantly found out that I loved them, not to long after our second computer I started building websites around my hobbies such as magic tricks but I was quickly recruited by my father to re-build his website for the family business.

After 2 years of working 3-4 hrs per day on my dads site we finally went live with the new site I created and we showed it off to the whole family. Back then it seemed like such a big thing but looking back it was just enough to get my feet wet. Like most young lad’s I had many hobbies and always liked to learn new things, that’s when I stumbled across 3d graphics.

I became a 3d junkie building 3d models and rendering them the best I could, I ended up starting a 3d training company (my first actual business) at the age of 15. Starting that company was so important to how I now work my daily life, it showed me how to be reselient and how to push through the tough times. I was lucky to get started so early and I have my earthly father to thank for that.

After I went through my 3d phase I got back to my roots of web design but then I was hit with a new challenge… Search Engine Optimization was big on the list for our family business website. We badly needed to rank for our key-words for free, we had spent nearly 30,000.00 with cpc the year before and we did not get the traffic we needed (the free results).

So after some nudging from my father I began learning SEO and implementing it onto our site everywhere I could. It took me about 1 year to truly learn seo and how to rank in the search engines, another invaluable asset to my resume!

Now 2 years later our family business is ranking in nearly every term within the first 5 spots that we go for, its comforting to know that what I have done not only taught me but it also keeps our family business grounded!null

Now I am focusing on my life and what I want to build for my future, my goal is to work online full-time, I would love for this blog to get huge 20k+ subscribers and make a couple thousand bucks a month off it but that’s not my main goal.

The goal of this blog is really to document what I do, what works, what doesnt and hopefully help others along the way!

Since starting this blog I have become friends with lots of people and it has helped me bring my level up even higher then I thought possible!

I am now in only my second year of blogging and things are looking good! I always try and keep the attitude that I can learn more because I truly want to be the best at this blogging game!

If you know me personally you know my motto is “Go big, or Go home”. I try to life by it and every day I push myself to become better and better!

One of the things I believe that sets my apart from the crowd of mmo bloggers out their is that I actually do want to help people and I am not just here for the money I can get, even if this blog never made a cent I would still love it and help people just as much. My DNA craves to help people and every time I get an email question or a comment question I just get all bubbly inside with joy.

What is my monthly salary?

Bragging about how much money I make is not something I like to make a point of, however I do make a decent income online. While not always the best numbers I do manage to put off doing full-time work outside my home and for that I am thankful. You can read my monthly earnings reports if you want to know how much I make month to month.

What are my future goals?

As an entrepreneur, I always have future goals that I would like to obtain, my current goals are not really goals… They are ideas that must happen in order for me to continue doing what I’m doing online. I’m 20 years old and time is slipping by! The first goal that I have is for this personal blog to grow into a great resource for people to visit for all information on making money online and seo. The goal is to have it make a monthly income of anywhere from $200-$500 from advertisers, this means it’s your job to tell all of your friends about my blog!

The second goal that I have is for my webmaster forum to reach 100,000 posts 25,000 members and about five more moderators by the end of 2009. It appears as if we are on our way to reaching this goal, if this happens I could probably make anywhere from $500-$1500 off the website per month, again to do this I need your help and I need you to spread the word!

Where did your webmaster dream come from?

To tell you the truth I’m not really sure, however I think it came from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! For some reason as soon as I started doing website design, SEO and 3-D I just had a knack for it and a God-given ability to do it pretty well, I only lack the ability to write down in detail everything I’ve done so that I can become what they call a professional in my field. I am working on this and my father helps me as well and in no time I will be a professional in my field!
