When it comes to finding a hotel online their is no shortage of places to do it, however finding a site that acts and works like it should when you perform a search can be difficult.
Today we are checking out Salou hotels on Destinia hotel search.
I was actually surprised just how accurate the search function on Destinia works, usually these sites barely load or load irrelevant results. Its refreshing to finally see a company and website doing something right.
While the search function does work good the site needs some help, sure the site is decent looking but everything can be improved!
The first thing that comes to mind is the logo, its just plain text, there is virtually no class to it at all! This is the first thing I would change if I took over the website, I suggest going to a place like Digitalpoint or BzImage to find a logo designer!
Secondly the menu bar has what looks like language or currency flags on it that the user can use to select a new place to go to, this simply will not do either and you should seriously consider adding them into a drop-down box!
Thirdly the overall feel of the site seems old, it has a couple web 2.0 features but it just feels stagnant when you visit the site, it should feel like a smooth flowing liquid going down your stomach with no hiccups! Work on that!
If you do that then you should be on your way to web 2.0 success!
