Domain extensions ranking results to debate!
The other day I was browsing the digital platforms and I saw the question:
Do domains with different extensions rank better then others?
This question is asked many times by seo beginners, everybody’s trying to get that seo edge over their competitors and their thinking somehow that the domain extension will make a difference in their rankings. The simple fact of the matter is the extension of a domain name makes absolutely no difference to the search engines, they consider them all the same and give equal importance to all! The only things that do make a difference are a GREAT seo’d website and a site which uses safe white-hat link building techniques!
If you have these two things along with regularly updated content you have no chance of not beating your competitors. You just need to ensure that you give 110% while they’re only giving 100% and you will beat them every time!

Recently there seems to have been a bit of a savaging of .info domains by Goggle … I guess they are often used by black hatters since they’re sold cheaply.
But otherwise, I agree with you.

The only place domain extensions help is when telling another person. Most people automatically think your site is a .com just becuase you have a website.

Yes, word of mouth is when domain extensions mean something.
