Don’t lose your connections!

Hey everyone!

Man its been awhile since Ive posted :( I apologize but I am happy to see people are still commenting (new people to) as well as my faithful subscribers (which count is going up some by the looks of it).

I love you all and I hope you still find use out of these posts :)

OK so today I want to talk about all the connections Ive made in the blogging sphere. I know so many people but when I went blog a-wall there for awhile I lost contact. That doesn’t mean anyone forgot me (in fact quite the opposite) but it can happen.

I did however lose contact in the sense that I lost there email addresses and info about what we were discussing at that time.

My main point is to encourage you to save and backup all this info “right now” so this doesn’t happen to you.

Its a simple point but a vital one you will thank me for, seriously you never know when you may need a guest post, sell an advert etc… If you keep all those email contact info’s you can do so pretty easily :)

Enjoy and have a great day!

Welcome back, Shannon. You’re very correct about backing stuff up. Especially with the advent of huge external hard drives, it’s not a difficult thing to do regularly these days. Online backups are also getting popular but they don’t offer a lot of space yet.

    Till then,

    Jean

  2. Just came across your blog and found it so informative that I could not resist myself from commenting on it! You are really doing a great job, thanks and keep posting.

Its really working when you try to connect with each and everyone, so the thing really works when you keep the conntenctions and don’t them give up as you said here, shanon. I liked the way you have talked here.

  4. Well hopefully you didn’t lose my contact info but if you did now you have it back ;)

Hope you’re doing well Shannon … we’re gearing up for boating/floating/beach season and getting very busy around here (you need to come out on the boat this year huh?).

I also wrote my first eBook (it’s free so check it out LOL) and I’m having some good success with local clients – doing local promoting for them via video, seo, ads, etc. so that’s be fun.

Stay in touch k? *huGs* Suzanne

  5. You are right that you need to write content, but that is not enough. You also need to do some blog promotion to get some initial visitors. If I were you I would sign up for a twitter account and start using it to promote all new posts.
