I see a lot of people approaching companies to sell adverts on there sites as I showed you all how to do before on the how to get advertisers post I wrote.
I just want to make sure you all don’t approach these companies before its time to for your own blogs.
Remember, when I do it I have a big readership and lots of traffic / results proof to show them.

You bring out a very important point where I agree a lot of bloggers fail. Now I do not think that it will harm them in any way to ask companies even though they do not yet have successful blogs but they are wasting their time.
It takes time to create a successful blog and it can be hard to keep working without seeing any or little results. But if you keep at it you will get there and the rewards will be worth the wait.

Those stats seem like a reasonable starting point before you start looking for advertisers, because like you said — you need to have something to show them, otherwise, why would they want to pay for advertising?
Show them you can give them a return with some simple stats and you’ll have no trouble getting repeat advertisers!

People can make money from ads, by displaying ads in their blogs and websites. There are lots of rules of which are to be followed.some of them writer has mentioned in his tips.thanks

My credentials and experience go along with an ambitious career to date, but now I just want to shut down my solo consulting business, get out of corporate America, and get into a field or a function that is simply more fun and interesting. It might be food or wine or tea, or it might be museum work or some sort of community development – still deciding.

It’s not difficult to get RSS readers and comments with some contests (and making the blog dofollow). But may not be same as 500+ UV per day.
Do you recommend using adwords in the meanwhile?

A lot of it has to do with your traffic sources. Most companies are not interested in placing their ads on sites that target social traffic. They want targeted organic traffic that converts.
