Great tip!! And do not forget that people often sell their sig cheap, way cheaper than links on a website.

I notice that my signature link on dp forums gets lots of click throughs if the anchor text is bold and in a different color. I never tend to use descriptions underneath the link but I can see how it would attract a lot more visitors to click the link

Signature links are very good, but its best not too look too much like adSense (though it is true that adsense rarely works in signatures).
