How Important Is A Catchy Business Name?
The problem with today’s Internet marketers and entrepreneurs is that they do not realize the importance of a catchy business/website name, a catchy business name will get your customers talking about you which we know from past articles that word-of-mouth spreads like wildfire and is the quickest way to gain visitors and return customers!
Your business name should be catchy in the sense that it makes sense and describe what your site / business is about but it should also be catchy, something quick that people can remember the first time they look at and then they can easily tell their friends about it.
You don’t want to have some long a 45 character domain name, it simply doesn’t make sense and your visitors will not remember what your URL is in full. Remember just like TV commercials you’ve only got 30 seconds to convince your visitors that you have something and being need, there for make wise use of your time and make the domain as short as possible.
In order to choose a good business name you need to take a couple of steps into consideration, the first step we would like to point out is brainstorming.
Brainstorming gives you the ability to pick a name that people hear right down and remember with ease the first time they see it. To do this grab a couple of friends or family members and give them a list of names on a paper piece of paper, have them look at the paper quickly for about 10 to 15 seconds. Whichever name stands out the most on average is probably going to be your best choice, the mind will automatically go to the easiest choice possible therefore you know that is your best business name.
Before you start brainstorming you need to find related words that have something in common with your niche and what your website business is going to be about.
For instance if your website is going to be about hot dogs try and grab a domain name that has the word hot dogs in it. This way people who visit your site will know what your website is about before they even get to the good stuff on the site, this will yield off unwanted spam and help in bringing visitors that really matter.
After you have studied a bit and you’ve gotten several words that make sense try combining those in different ways and fashions until you find something that you like, this is the list you will give your family and friends for brainstorming.
Although these tips seem to be simple we believe that if you follow them to a tee in no time at all you will have a successful business because the name matters.

Perhaps a site called Infected by Bugs would be a good name for a site about extermination, pest control (oh, sorry, I mean, about making money online).
