Hey Everyone,
Today is a little strange for me, I am actually encouraging you NOT to work! That’s right, today is your day to sit back, relax and drink lemonade (unless your on a diet like me so its water with lemons for me).
OK so we all work A TON in our lives, lets just look at my past 30 days, I have worked 4/10 hr days for the last month, that’s 160 hours of work! That’s so much work that life can become stressful and we all need to learn to aleve stress.
I recently came across Volleyball, although its a sport and actually tires me out to play, its so fun that I don’t even mind. I think if we all found more hobbies we would enjoy life better, granted I understand when you have a family to feed taking time for yourself seems impossible but I hope you at least try to squeeze 30 minutes a day for yourself to do whatever you want to do!
Maybe thats painting, designing or playing a sport, whatever it is I encourage you to give it a go for atleast 30 minutes a day. I think after awhile you will become more productive because you will get your mind off things and in turn think of ideas you would have never had before.
Here is a video of me and my gang playing volleyball last night! Can you spot where I am at on the court?

Hello, My name is Shannon and I have been making money online for the last several years. I am dedicated to showing everyone I can how to replicate my blogging success. I work very hard and I have been featured on some of the biggest blogs on the net, you can

Taking a break form work always rejuvenate you and gives you fresh ideas about how to improve the work,or may be a new idea to explore. And playing a game like volleyball keeps you fit, there is an old saying All work and no play make jack a Dull boy. Physical activity always revitalises your mind as the circulation of blood increases because your heart pump out more blood fastly and hence more supply of blood and oxygen refreshes mind.

Relaxation is important, for your family as well as for yourself. However, when you are surrounded by your work at all times, it is easy to remain in the work frame of mind. It can be difficult to switch gears.

lol you must be in California because in the NorthEast was hot, muggy, and wet. There’s nothing more that I’d like to do than to get out but in this economy…
I do agree that it’s healthy to have the occasional break and “recharge” the creative batteries.
July 27th, 2009 at 11:06 am
Its really strange shanon that you are encouraging not to work but so far its a good idea for sometime you should relax and the best season is summer for relaxing. But I haven’t rested or relaxed during summer since 2008 so still work goes on.

My husband and I are celebrating our three year anniversary late this summer… just after Labor Day. We don’t want to go to Door County, or the Dells, because we’ve done those before. We’ve also done the camping thing before. Basically, we’re looking for somewhere where we can relax, enjoy the sites, and not have to travel too far (we’re in Chicago land area… and prefer to get AWAY from the city). We’d love to have a pool/water park at the hotel, a hot tub in the room, and even a little kitchenette in the room would be nice too. Just some ideas. Please help us.
Thanks!thanks.

I had an awful summer. I just finished my exams and after that i got a job (8 hours/day). I didn’t had time for a real holliday because i worked every day from moday to friday. Anyway i just want to know what should i do to get relaxed for a while because now i have other 2 exams coming (not very very important.. but still ) and the summer is almost over. I’m afraid to get a leave from the job because i’m just a beginner there even if i can do that. I don’t even have a girlfriend yet.. So.. please tell me what should I do because everything’s getting so frustrating..

I’ve been meditating for years and have found that it helps me not only relax on my downtime, but keeps me calmer, more focused, and generally less easily antagonized in other areas of my life. Just 10 minutes a day can make a serious impact on your well-being and it takes no real skill to start.

I am currently after a male sleeping bag for the English summer, 3 season. Please could someone recommend one for me. I’d like it to cover a long summer, so would like it to cover end of summer temperatures also.
August 1st, 2009 at 2:11 pm
I will be leading in the Lakes so my priority is to have a light and compact sleeping bag. My aim is to make my kit smaller so that i can quite comfortably fit all my kit into a 65l. So, small, warm and effective.
August 1st, 2009 at 2:11 pm
Sleeping bags are a very personal purchase so it would not be appropriat to recommend a particular brand or type. What would suit me would not necessarily suit you.
August 1st, 2009 at 2:12 pm
The advantages of down are that it is light, very warm and packs small. The disadvantages are that it is not easy to wash and is useless if it gets wet.
August 1st, 2009 at 2:12 pm
Man-made fibre bags are cheaper, still provide some insulation when wet, dry out quickly, can be washed and do not leak filling through small tears.
August 1st, 2009 at 2:12 pm
For your requirements you would probably be better with a down bag. Make sure it is the right length, if it is too long your feet will be cold and you will be carrying extra, useless, weight.
August 1st, 2009 at 2:13 pm
A shoulder baffle makes the bag much “snugger” by stopping warm air from escaping. The zip should also be covered by an insulating baffle and an insulated hood should be regarded as a MUST.
August 1st, 2009 at 2:13 pm
Get a tapering, “mummy” bag. They are warmer and lighter. A bag liner will stop your bag from getting soiled and will keep it warmer. A breathable, waterproof, “bivvy bag” will make your bag even more effective and will allow you to sleep without a tent when the weather permits.
August 1st, 2009 at 2:13 pm
The bag should be covered with a strong, light breathable and wicking material, like Pertex or whatever the modern equivalent is. The lining will be more pleasant if it has a natural “feel”.
August 1st, 2009 at 2:14 pm
you could run stairs, hike, ( if you live in a hilly area! ), run around your neighborhood, or join a jym and workout there! just remember to stretch before and afterwards!! as for the plan, i dont have one but you could set a goal and once you reach it set a new one!
August 1st, 2009 at 7:50 pm
In fact, I’m getting tired and tired these days due to heavy workload and part time study, seems that I really need to find some times to take rest, maybe go for vocation. Any suggestion Shannon?

Why UGG Boot is So Popular?
Ugg boots, also spelled ugh boots and ug boots, are a style of sheepskin boot, with wool as the inner lining and a tanned outer surface worn by both men and women. Ugg boots often have a synthetic sole, although this is not universal. Uggs are popular with the teenage set, worn by girls with mini skirts, leggings, and with jeans tucked into the boots. UGGS Boots are also popular with boys, wearing jeans or tracksuit bottoms inside them most commonly.
UGG UK Sale, In Australia and New Zealand, sheepskin boots have long been popular with people in rural occupations, such as sheep shearers, who have ready access to the raw materials,. Their popularity increased as a result of World War I and World War II, when they were popular with aviators, because of their need to keep warm in non-pressurized planes at high altitudes. An exhibit of a WWI aviator’s outfit in the Canadian War Museum cites the term "fug" boots. UGG Cardy, Ugg Boots have also been popular with surfers and competitive swimmers since at least the 1960s, for keeping warm while out of the water. The terms ugg boots, ugh boots and ug boots have been used as generic terms for sheepskin boots in Australia since 1950s and 1960s, when they first appeared in advertising and other publications.
The natural properties of sheepskin results in thermostatic benefits. Thick fleecy fibres on the inner part of the boots allows air to circulate and keep the feet at body temperature. Synthetic and faux fur boots do not have these properties and sheepskin boots are highly prized for their effectiveness. Ugg boots are designed to be worn without socks in order to maximize the benefits of sheepskin.
What’s more, This Year’s Hottest UGG Boots Style–UGG Bailey Button Boots, is already starting to sell well. UGG UK Sale, it is not a matter of if this style sells out, but how quickly. Every year people procrastinate and then they can’t find the Ugg Boots they want. So, Shop early for the best selection.
