I have never made a post about keyword research before because I thought it was a well known thing, however over the last couple of days I have come to realize that its not really that well known and most of the people who cover it sell it within a pack or training series rather then giving it out for free.
Once again IBB is going against the grain and providing the info for free!
Keyword research is something everyone should be doing whether your going to do seo to your site or your starting a cpc campaign. The keywords you choose can make or break your budget in cpc or your website rankings for seo.
Rather then get really detailed with a post on how to do keyword research I thought I would show you all how I do it via video. This is actually the first video tutorial on IBB so if you like it be sure and let me know so I can create more of them for you guys!

I think keyword research is soooo important because if you get it wrong you will waste so much time and effort. It’s hard work this SEO and the first step is often the most boring yet the most important if you want to make money..
one golden rule in keyword research is go for longtail keywords first. Long tail is phrases (3 worded keywords or more)
in my opinion the best keyword come up when you think like a buyer. Put yourself in the customer shoes and you will have the best keywords related toy our industry.

I don’t know why i prefer the city in this cae Austin first but almost all of my searches are that way however i know not everyone does. Finding out which is better is quite as easy either as many keyword tools will sow a parity between the two. One good but costly way some of my clients use is to do both terms in Google adwords for a short ime making sure both terms are number one, then looking at that data
