I have saw this auction, but I think the traffic of the site is decreasing, and buying this website will not really earn you much money.
Cute site! Wish it had a higher PR…it’s hard to justify much cost for a site that’s only been around a few months.
Pagerank won’t matter much eventually as Google continues to eliminate paid links. Go for traffic and his blog gets it!

The problem is all the blogs did the one thing we preach not to… They went into the MMO niche, you have to be really lucky to make a blog work in the MMO niche these days.
Yan – Your comment intrigued me. You quoted examples of 2 blogs and I’ve found all 3 to be of decent enough quality. It’s not as if they were blogs created with the intention to sell them..
Link Building Bible – I’ve found it to be an awesome resource and RJ (the previous owner) had an engaging writing style and an abundance of knowledge about link building which he wanted to share.
StandoutBlogger – The author (Tom Sinfield) used to blog before on his own personal blog (http://thomassinfield.com) and I was a reader right from the start. He was a guy who could write information content without making it sound boring. StandoutBlogger even had an EXCELLENT design and logo.
MonkeyBlogger – The domain name itself offers great scope for branding and the design matched. The content was also pretty solid.
So, my point, is what’s wrong if bloggers do sell their blogs? They’re ordinary people just like us and there’s no rule fo the thumb which says that you can’t sell a blog of yours. It’s not as if those were their personal blogs (FirstNameSecondName.com)
@Girish: Of course, there is nothing wrong with it after all it’s their blogs. For whatever reasons, we will never know. I’m just sad that such great blogs are sold at its peak or maybe that’s how the game is being played here.

Its a good blog containing good amount of content and the design of the blog is good too.But if you have the knowledge about the niche of your blog then it is better to write your own articles then buying a blog as it will give u satisfaction with the work u have done on your blog.But if u buy a blog and don’t have knowledge on its niche and don’t update it frequently or post rewritten articles on it then u will start to loose visitors.
