Hey Guys,
So about 3-4 months ago I started a blog with my buddy Steve from Skbcg.com, we both love our PS3′s and therefor we started PS3Infection.com a blog dedicated to ps3 game reviews, news and tips!
After about 2 months of reviewing games on it we found out that making money off the site was going to take some time and we didn’t want to pour into a hope so we basically stopped working on it. Since then we have created more blogs together which are turning out great but for now we will keep on topic!

Anyways, this post about my first blog flip! Today I want to share with you how I flipped this PS3 blog for $200+ even though we hadn’t touched it for several months. I hope these tips help you and maybe you will make some different decisions about blog flipping.
The Right Buyer - When it comes to flipping a website or blog you really need to find the right person if you want to make a decent profit off a site. Flipping the site to people on Digitalpoint simply won’t get the job done im afraid, focus on sites like Sitepoint or the Warrior Forum for a better response.
Patients Is Key- I did not intend to sell this PS3 blog, in fact I mostly thought about reviving it on my own and getting it up and going with some of the new marketing stuff I learned here from IBB. But that ended up not working out because of time delays so I was going to end up selling it anyhow, luckily I found the right buyer (a past client of mine).
Up The Price If You Can- I am shocked at how easily people can be manipulated when they have decided they want something, its true for all forms of marketing. Once you get someone hooked on something its very hard for them to give up on that hope dream or product that they have seen work. How do we do this, simple when someone offers you say $200 for a blog or site tell them $250. Most will say ok sure while some may not, but guess what if they say no you can always say well I will get back to you tomorrow if it doesn’t sell for $250 and if it doesn’t you can have it for $200! Remember people are willing to wait for what they want, I waited 2 weeks once for a site I wanted to buy.
Don’t Be A Pushover- The only thing about people is that a lot of them are good at being scheming themselves. They can get you to come down off your price with ease because they know what buttons to push. I would rather be stubborn with the price I want because I know they can afford it otherwise they wouldn’twant the site in the first place. Don’t cave in unless it sounds seriously like you will lose them as a buyer, but if its a lot lower then you were expecting then perhaps they are not the right buyer anyhow?
If you can follow those techniques when flipping your blogs and sites you should have no problem getting a fair price for nearly any site you want to sell!
Enjoy guys!

Well done – there is a company in Australia called flippa which has a lot of advice on this and a place to buy / sell blogs. In the property niche at the moment with all the real estate companies closing their doors in Spain and around the world there should be quite a few established sites for sale making the newere ones less valuable.
very good instructional information for the beginners.
