The following is a paid review and is completely of my own opinion and is not influenced by being paid. If you’re interested in having me review your site or product, please view my advertising page.

nullAs you all know NetKlix has had their banners on our humble blog for a few months now! They continue to re-new their advertisement slots over and over which makes us feel great because it means we are doing something right!

NetKlix was new to me when they started Advertising on my blog, however I’ve found out more about them during that time and I think you could benefit from knowing more about them too. See Netklix started in 1999 as an affiliate network and then this last year they took the plunge and rebuilt their system from the ground up.

They basically relaunched as a Pay Per Click network, they are already working with thousands of websites, helping webmasters display relevant text ads on their sites, this means you get a better return on your ad inventory compared to finding them yourself.

It’s really easy to sign up with Netklix. You simply have to fill out your site name, choose the banner sizes that work for you (they have standard formats available) and lastly pick a color scheme that suits your blog.

You can change the text, border, background and URL colors so you should be able to blend the ads into your site perfectly.

That brings me to a interesting point, see all ads seem to do better if you blend them in to match your site. Ads that stick-out people tend to ignore but with the ability to change colors gives you an edge over the competition!

Netklix have over 400 different types of ads you can pick from and all are grouped according to business vertical.

This helps a lot especially relevancy for those who find that other contextual networks are serving up the wrong kind of ads based on keywords that you forgot you even included in your content… (Adsense is one of them).

Additionally every Advert is hand-approved by the Netklix Account Management team, which means they treat your ads with respect.

Netklix credits Publishers with a share of the revenue from each valid click from the ads on their site, which you can track as-it-happens using their reporting tools and you can see a handy daily summary when you login. You can then add new sites or AdSpaces to your account, increasing your ability to earn.

Overall, Netklix seems to be a good option for those looking for a simple yet effective Google AdSense Alternative.
