Alright so as you all know I have sort of been taking a break from blogging, things were getting so hectic that I needed some time off to think and I am still doing that, however I wanted to update you all on whats going on with me, this blog and what I have planned.
Obviously its tough to take time off from such a great blog like this but I really need the time off and at this point I have not missed it so much because keeping up with you all is extremely tough.
It would help if you guys would comment more on the blog.. And that brings me to my first important news subject, the page rank update.
If you all kept track when IBB was down about 3 weeks ago we had lost our page rank entirely. Then all of a sudden last week we went back to a page rank of 4! This made me really happy because I am hoping it will encourage you all to comment more since its a good strong pr link from me to you.
I have already noticed 4 or 5 more comments since the pr went up and I had not even said anything to you all yet :). I find it a bit strange that the pr updated like that in the middle of the cycle but I am happy about it!
Next on the list of stuff to talk about is the fact that I am taking time off, I would gladly come back but I am still wondering if I should even continue to run IBB. Not that I don’t love doing it but at this point the blog is not making enough income for me to keep it going, not when I can make 2-500 a shot building sites through my new SitesWeDo company.
Its not even really about the money, its more about you guys and if you all would become more active by commenting and telling others to signup to our blog then I could start releasing some kick butt content that all of you would want… I cant do that though without some motivation and all of you are my motivation.
Well that about sums it up, think about what I said and if you want me to bring some cool stuff to you then you need to help out and start commenting and telling others to join this blog! There I said it now go do it!

If I was you I wouldn’t take a time off. Maybe not post as often but you have such a big reader base you just need to find different ways to get people to comment and participate. Also, search more for different ways to monetize your blog. Good Luck!

It’s difficult trying to blog when you’re not sure if anyone actually reads what you’re writing. When people leave comments it’s a positive boost because you know that someone has actually read what you’ve written, and whether it’s a good comment or bad comment, you know you’ve written something that someone actually feels the need to comment on.
I guess there are a lot more people reading your stuff, but when they don’t comment it’s difficult to know.
I guess the only way is to keep writing and keep promoting and keep attracting new visitors.
A PR4 is a great acheivement though - and it’ll be sad if you decide to leave this blog as you’ve obviously worked hard to get it to that point.

Actually I’m kind of surprised that a blog as successful as yours is not having that great number of comments. I’m sure they are lots of people reading your stuffs but it just puzzles me and as Emma said, it’s really difficult to know…

did some check against google and others not sure why your blog is lagging against Mr. G you sure have some good articles here
