If you are already running or considering starting up your first blog then get ready for problems.
They are part of the blogging life-style and it really depends on you for the out-come. Lets start with a little story, so I had been working on the new IBB theme for a couple of days and I was finally ready to go live with it. I went live with it only to find out that the cool featured posts was not working, it simply displayed them all in one long row instead of with the javascript fade in and out like its suppose to.
Now I could have easily lost my cool and gone berserk and kicked some furniture but that simply would not solve my problem. Instead I took the advice of one of my favorite vloggers on the net Gary Var-Ner-Chuk and instead of pouting I dealt with it and continued on with my day after I sent an email asking the co-developer of the theme what was wrong.
That brings me to the point of this post, we need to have our priorities straight if we want to run a successful business that is sure to work. Remember, sugar works better then salt in business and you can certainly take that to the bank!
Cool Off – When a problem arises, instead of dealing with it right then wait 30 minutes and think about what you want to say. If your still REALLY mad after 30 minutes you may have good cause but remember, people respond better to a kind email or phone-call then they do to the all guns blazing approach!
Be Courteous – If you really want someone to respond when a problem arises that should have been avoided then being courteous is like Gold. If you respect someone enough to be patient with them while they fix a problem they have caused they will not only get the job done quicker but they will be more willing to continue working with you and possibly get more people to know about you because word of mouth is powerful and it only takes 1 tweet to thousands of people to grow readerships in the blink of an eye!
Limit Your Words – If you are mad about something I find it best to limit my words and sentences to people and they get the message that they need to help me right now or I won’t be satisfied. This can be a bit brutal but I still think its better then cussing someone out because they made a mistake on something they did for you.
Forgive & Forget – Once the problem is solved its time to forget it and move on, that does not mean you have to use that person again for work but it does mean that you never go around bad mouthing them because they made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes and just think what you would feel like if someone went around telling people about your mistakes. My guess is you would not be to happy so do the right thing and forgive and forget!
Remember – Lastly guys remember, when it comes to people no matter the age they will always remember what you do to them, so if that’s the case wouldn’t you rather leave them with a smile then a frown? I want to know that I treated every person I could with respect no matter what they have done to me. Its all about your mind-set and how you deal with things, it may not seem important right now but just wait, in a few years you all will get it!

My name is Shannon and I love to blog. I run multiple blogs and have been blogging for a few years now. You can find out more
Problems are part and parcel of life and people should just deal with it. If anything, they serve to develop you and make you wiser if you are wise enough to use them to your advantage. You have listed out some good stuff in this post.
Great post. I agree with every word, problems arise constantly we have to be wise enough to deal with them in a right way
thanks for commenting on the post.
You make some excellent points. There are also occasions when it turns out that it wasn’t the other person’s fault but your own, which is another reason to tread lightly!
@Janet Barclay, For sure Janet, welcome to ibb btw!
@Janet Barclay, Aggreed 100%. Dealing with issues professionally is so important and many people just don’t realize that, unfortunately.
Shannon ~ Great post … I also agree with Janet (hey girl – great to see you) … and for me as non-techie as I am it’s most often my fault LOL
I believe in asking a lot of questions … instead of blasting someone. For instance, should the featured posts all be displaying in one long row? Would you please take a look and see if the problem jumps out at you?
Shit happens! We are in control of how to respond and react. This is a very good post … and I’m especially impressed that you “get it” already Shannon … you are mature beyond your years! *huGs*
P.S. I used your “Tweet This” … and I want to get that on mine
I do wish it automatically added your Twitter ID so it would link back to you when I did it … any ideas?
@Suzanne Franco, The plugin actually does do that in the newer version!!! Just search Tweet This in google and it should come up

I agree totally. If you fly off the handle you will cause even more problems for yourself.
This is an important thing to realize, and it’s something I always don’t handle right. I just bought the Thesis theme for a new blog I am working on, and there is a certain way to editing the theme that is totally different from others. I started working with it for the first time, and I couldn’t figure it out. I got really angry, and it didn’t get me anywhere at all. But, I decided to cool down and go at it without worrying and it has been working for me.
thank for you writing the good comments over the post really very interesting and inspiring for all.
Good points Lilly seems like you know how to explain your readers on very simple approach thus we understand easily

Nice insight here. Glitches may seem like setbacks at first, but eventually — because you have learned something by the time they are resolved — they always serve to propel you forward. It’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture when we’re so focused on getting the smaller things figured out. Thanks for sharing your advice on how you handle similiar situations!

I always had a fight with my partner.. often we continue fighting through SMS. So the best way to shut the argument off is to off my mobile phone and wait 2 or 3 hours to cool off

Why UGG Boot is So Popular?
Ugg boots, also spelled ugh boots and ug boots, are a style of sheepskin boot, with wool as the inner lining and a tanned outer surface worn by both men and women. Ugg boots often have a synthetic sole, although this is not universal. Uggs are popular with the teenage set, worn by girls with mini skirts, leggings, and with jeans tucked into the boots. UGGS Boots are also popular with boys, wearing jeans or tracksuit bottoms inside them most commonly.
UGG UK Sale, In Australia and New Zealand, sheepskin boots have long been popular with people in rural occupations, such as sheep shearers, who have ready access to the raw materials,. Their popularity increased as a result of World War I and World War II, when they were popular with aviators, because of their need to keep warm in non-pressurized planes at high altitudes. An exhibit of a WWI aviator’s outfit in the Canadian War Museum cites the term "fug" boots. UGG Cardy, Ugg Boots have also been popular with surfers and competitive swimmers since at least the 1960s, for keeping warm while out of the water. The terms ugg boots, ugh boots and ug boots have been used as generic terms for sheepskin boots in Australia since 1950s and 1960s, when they first appeared in advertising and other publications.
The natural properties of sheepskin results in thermostatic benefits. Thick fleecy fibres on the inner part of the boots allows air to circulate and keep the feet at body temperature. Synthetic and faux fur boots do not have these properties and sheepskin boots are highly prized for their effectiveness. Ugg boots are designed to be worn without socks in order to maximize the benefits of sheepskin.
