The Google sandbox!

The Google sandbox came to be in the beginning of 2004, basically it’s a new spam filter that excludes new websites from the search results for a period of time. The sandbox is basically a place that google holds websites in until they believe it’s time to start allowing them to rank. This even happens with websites that have a high quality unique content and which are promoted using legitimate techniques.

So basically a new website is created, great content is added and you do SEO correctly but you still can’t rank!

The trick to the sandbox is learning how to be patient; you just have to wait until they start treating your website like its normal, which usually takes around 90 days. In these 90 days you can take advantage and start building your website would legitimate white hat seo techniques.

Google filters these websites to try and trace any websites that are using black hat techniques to push their way to the top of the rankings in any niche. This is one way that Google eliminates any spammers from entering their index!

By Google implementing the sandbox filter it has allowed us as he SEO’s to use our legitimate techniques for ranking our keywords properly. It eliminates spammers making our job easier; however it does get tiresome having to wait 90 days to see some real ranking placements! I wish Google would speed that process up a little bit.
