Search engine traffic scam!

We have received e-mails asking us why the search engines have not sent much traffic to our websites. We rank very high for our niche keywords & long-tail keywords yet we do not receive very much traffic compared to our competitors.

The search engines have tricked you into thinking that the only way to get traffic is through their search results. The simple fact is this is not true, although we have had reports of great traffic gains from being in the search engines it’s not the best way to go about it.

There are many ways to receive traffic to your website new or old, below will list and talk about a few of these techniques which we believe if used properly will yield excellent results for you!

Social bookmarks

The first method that we would suggest for receiving large amounts of traffic in a short period of time is to get your website listed in social bookmark websites. Social bookmarks are the fastest way to get instant traffic for little to no cost! We do not suggest worrying about places like digg.com a lot of the big social bookmark websites out there are over rated for the traffic they send unless you’re on the homepage which is near to impossible to achieve. Instead focus on the smaller social book mark sites like: www.blurpalicious.com & www.socialdanger.com

Banner ads

Banner ads are a long overlooked form of advertising, banner ads are a great way to get traffic to your website which in turn should yield sales and return customer’s. Banners of any size 468 x 60, 125 x 125, 81 x 33 etc… The reason banners get such great results is because the people visiting your banner are people wanting what you have!

Friends list

Another great method is to have a friends list on sites like face book and other social media websites. These websites allow you to quickly add friends onto your lists and then when you have a new product or service you can send all these new friends a message and they will check out your website and probably buy something if they believe it will help them improve. These friends that you’re sending a message to will also do the next step which is also the most powerful technique to receive traffic.

Word of mouth

The last technique I would like to talk about is word-of-mouth, word-of-mouth spreads like wildfire if you have something that people want. Word-of-mouth is the quickest way to get traffic and produce sales in short time span, all you have to do is ensure that your product or service is worth having!

A final note

With all these traffic techniques working for you, they could yield little to no results if you do not have something that people want! One thing that return visitors will want to see is lots of new content added to your website daily and/or weekly.

Its also import for you to avoid using any BlackHat seo techniques while getting traffic. BlackHat is not a pretty business and once you read Blueverse explanation of it you won’t want to touch it with a 200 ft poll!
