As you all know I have pretty much avoided the topic of affiliate marketing since I started blogging. I know however that affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to making money online. Really I was just lacking the idea to market but I believe I have finally found it!
If you cannot tell from the logo above I have started a T-Shirt affiliate site called www.funnItees.comI just love the domain name! I have selected 9 funny shirt designs / slogans I like and am using the SplitReason.com affiliate program.
I have a few ways I am going to try and get sales however before I get into that I want to let you know the payout amounts 
Basically every time someone buy’s a tee from my site I will get $4.00, not that bad considering I don’t have to make the shirts or ship them!
The site I created is fairly basic and too the point but it should serve its purpose well!

Now I told you I have a few ideas to market this site and I do! Infact I have already set them into motion…
The first Idea is to get the site stumbled and hopefully get some traffic / sales through that! I am aiming for $50 this first month, not unreachable but it will take some work on my end.
My mom is also emailing a bunch of her sites subscribers about the shirts and hopefully I will get a couple sales that way. With all that going on I also started a CPC campaign through google adwords and hopefully that does well and converts to sales!
I will keep you all updated with the progress of course!

Affiliate marketing is definitely a great way to make some good money. I’m just starting out too and am doing some keyword research. The niche that you chose is pretty cool and I’m already tempted to buy “The Gaming Lifestyle” t-shirt.

I’ve being into affiliate marketing for about months now and although to retire any time soon I am making a fair bit each month.
CPC? Is that the same as PPC? I’m not sure about the affiliate website you’re using, but most don’t like people using PPC to gain visitors.
Nice idea. I have a friend who actually has a t-shirt site in the Christian niche. It suffered a little while, but is finally starting to make some regular sales. Just have to market and promote like any other site. Linkbuilding, etc…

The thing about affiliates marketing is that you need a decent amount of traffic and carefully chosen keywords that drive those traffic to your affiliate site. I’m still learning the tricks of AM anyway..and it’s one area I’ll be focusing more on… T-shirt affiliates is rather new to me…

T-Shirt affiliate marketing is somehting that I have not heard of in a while. I heard about it long ago, but was quite skeptical about it.
And now you have brought it up and it has got me thinking, but I’m not sure that it can have as much reach as the other processes.
Good luck with that site. It is very simple and to the point. Being in affiliate marketing myself, I would bet you have good luck if promoted correctly.

I’ve been in affiliate marketing for over 10 years, so that’s a lot of experience. What it adviser is to keep the content relevant and high quality and to put in text links and recommendations for products which your visitors may be interested to buy.
The trick is not to make promotion too obvious or you will not be able to earn cash very easily.
