The 5 B’s Of Blogging!

Today I wanted to talk a little bit about blogging, I have covered it in the past some but today I wanted to lay out the 5 basic rules of blogging!

Be Different- Standing out in the blogosphere today is more important then ever before. So many blogs look the same, act the same and even post about the same subject matters within a couple days time.

Its time to break the chain and break out of the box you have created called “Your Blog”.

Be Professional – If you want to be a big time blogger then you need to be professional in your postings, do your best to make sure every T is crossed and ever I is dotted!

Its tough but worth the effort later down the road when and advertisers comes in and See’s how consistent you are in being the best you can.

Be Creative – Its time to be creative, learn to engage users in unique ways with contests and ask questions on your blog to get answers.

Nobody ever said you had to know everything to blog about it, you are allowed to not know everything and ask your readers what they think!

Be A Tester – Testing is a vital role when blogging, you need to learn to be a tester, test ad placements, sizes, promotions, contests and everything else you can test.

In fact why not come up with a 10 or 20 questions questionnaire that your readers can answer in a comment back to you? The testing possibilities are endless and its your chance to shine and show the world you can do it!

Be Kind- Being kind can be tough on a blog that’s focused around controversial topics but in the end as a blogger you decide how and what the mood of your blog is going to be.

Take time to disect your readers thoughts and opinions when the comment, they usually know what they want and if you deliver it you just gained a loyal reader!
