As most of you know I am always looking to improve IBB by becoming more organized and of course teaching all of you in the process of doing that. Today I am doing a review of the WebDesignDev project Michael Dunlop of RetireAt21 has started. I talk with Michael quite a bit over msn and email and I know he used to own a big forum before he sold it for a measly couple hundred bucks.

However with the knowledge of running a forum he has been kicking the idea of WebDesignDev around for some time and its finally to a point where I believe its presentable to show all of you about it!

I want to start having our reviews a bit more organized and you all can learn from me about this. Since the start of the blog I have custom tailored reviews to what the purchaser wanted but I have found it often times leaves out a lot of details that should be listed. So from here on out I am going to use the new format you see below on this review.

Site / Blog Design

One of the great things about starting a website in today’s Internet years is the fact that they can and do often times look very appealing to the eyes. WebDesignDev is no exception to this, it simply rocks! However I believe the site has to much red in it

As you can see on the above image (incase the site doesn’t load for some odd reason) the design is very web 2.0ish and is above all professional looking in every way. Every page of the site is well written and it contains tons of useful info to boot.

Site Features

One unique feature WebDesignDev offers to everyone free of charge is the User Forum. Basically the catch for WebDesignDev that differentiates it from other design forums out there is that for every 50 posts you make you get free web hosting on michaels awesome server!

While it may not seem like much it takes you only like a week or so to make 50 posts (only takes me 1 hr) and the hosting is worth way more then that to be honest. The forum offer multiple areas of discussion and is fun to post in. I suggest you post in the design forum asap so you can get your name out there in this soon to be huge community.

Site Monetization

WebDesignDev makes great use of every available spot on the site to list ads that you and myself can buy. This makes it a money maker because advertisers can see that there ads are given top priority even over the content the site endorses which is awesome if I do say so.

Michael makes over 10k per month online and WebDesignDev looks to be another site where he will make some great money over the coming months and years!
