Ok, ok I know I had quite a few of these types of posts lately but they make sense and they should help you become better bloggers so please read it and do it guys! Seriously blogging and becoming successful at it is not that tough if you stick with it and are above all else persistent no matter what. People like to see consistency so just do it!
WARNING: The following techniques do work and we will not be held responsible if you suddenly become a top blogger with hundreds and thousands of subscribers…
Pass It On - This one is simple, instead of just letting visitors find your content encourage them to pass it on to others via social media sites like Digg and Stumbleupon. If your to shy to ask “YOUR” visitors to do something then im sorry you should not be blogging.
Pick Someone - Contests are great for blogs and this one is no exception. Come up with an interesting contest for your readers. Even if its just a random drawing pick someone and let the buzz for your blog go wild among the blogosphere! Giveaway stuff like ebooks or shirts, stuff that doesn’t cost you much to get your hands on and give out!
Plain - When making your posts explain things plainly, most people are not neurosurgeons with minds that can nearly control the outcome just by thinking about it. Us mortals need stuff spelled out for us, do yourself and us a favor by making it plain, simple and to the point. Got it?
Plus - One of the best ways to increase subscriber counts is to offer something as a “plus” for them to subscribe. I have tried everything from a free wp theme to ebooks and it doesn’t matter what you give away someone will always want it. You just need to try it and see because this one works people!
Purple - Ever read Seth Godins material on the purple cow? Its all about being different, if your unique then people will follow you simply because your bringing a new perspective to the same old thing. Try it out by searching Digg homepage. Any article on there pretty much uses this technique…

First T’s, now P’s? Great post man!
I have to try “Pass It On” more often. Most of the times, when I hit publish for a new post, that’s where it ends. No promotion. Nothing. Zilch. Nada. I guess now is the perfect time to start doing it.

Haha, I did the 5 “C’s” of blogging, you did the 5 “P’s” of blogging, and someone else did the 5 “T’s” of blogging - I think bloggers like the number 5

Nice post mate,
They are definitely some good tips, I especially agree with point 3, far too many bloggers try to be elitist and get “in jokes” running and all it does it put the majority of visitors off.

I like when I see a post that has multiple letters that are the same referring to different aspects of some activity or process. It offers a bit of continuity between the items, and makes the article more easy to recall if one wants to check it at a later time.

Offering free prizes is more attractive to visitors, like e-book or any free information that is interesting and useful to all.
