Sometimes I think a lot of newb bloggers get caught up in the hype of blogging because they hope to hit it big and make money or have thousands of followers or whatever other goals they may have.
I’m not saying Goals are wrong in fact I have written multiple posts on the subject and how valuable they are, but this post is kind of a rant because i’m getting tired of these newb bloggers who don’t really blog just to blog.
What I mean by the question of this post is simple, what makes someone a real blogger, is it success, making money, having subscribers? What is it?
None of the above, what makes a real blogger is the pure fact that someone will write and putup kick butt content just because whether they make a dime or not. I will admit when I first started my blogging career I was into the hype to. However a year and a half later after making money having lots of subscribers and such blogging is really just something I want to do and I am currently doing it without pay simply because I love it that much.
Its one way to de-stress but it also allows me to post and write when I feel like it, not when I have people breathing down my neck for more content constantly.
I run more then just this blog to and I look at them all the same, if they make me money AWESOME but if they don’t I will continue to post when I feel like it.
That’s all I wanted to say today but I will be posting a real content post soon so stay tuned guys oh and BTW COMMENTS make me want to post more just an FYI!

I appreciate it…..Thanks for sharing such kind of information with us….& I think any blog will popular when blogging is perfect by owner…& there is a need to updated that blog & on regularly basis there is a need to insert some fresh content because now readers want only fresh content & that content should be informative & meaningful.
Very nice article
Nice call Shannon.. Very true.. Otherwise the word blogger is a job description.. Blogger is more like the word writer, which is someone that writes. Whether they make money or not depends on other matters to do with publishing, but either way they still write..
Great.. Correct , Money persuades many
Great bloggers must be passionate about what they are writing about. I truly believe if you are writing about things you are not interested or knowledgeable in, it will show in your writing and to your readers.
Having basic SEO knowledge is a plus for any blogger. Bloggers who understand the benefits of good keyword research, how to promote content, and maximizing the potential of each post, will gain a larger readership in a shorter amount of time. I would also imagine that at some point you will want to monetize your blog, by offering products or ad space. Bloggers with SEO knowledge typically have experience in monetizing blogs.
I have blogs or should I say websites? I post lots of stuff. Some original, others are press releases. My latest is a devotional website which is entirely original. The only site I have that does so. I love writing devotionals and send them out to about 1000 people but thought I’d post them online so people can use them. Thanks for your thoughts.
Nice article and quite informative. Thanks for sharing.
I think you need to be a good reader as well to become a better blogger. It seems pointless that you could write well, market your articles wonderfully, but never takes the time to read other people’s work.
i love this..
Important traits of a real Blogger… hmmmmm… variety I guess
Maybe change once in a while the usual trend on how you present your posts.. so people don’t get bored easily seeing the same style over and over. But if you have unique content each day, it might not matter that much.
A good blogger needs to be patient, persistent, have a basic understanding of social interaction, know how to monetize, have some writing skills, know how to use the internet, be willing to make online connections, and not be afraid to put him or herself out there.
