What’s Our SEO Future?

nullToday I was reading Shoemoney blogs, shoe has long proclaimed he is not an seo but we all know that he is and just won’t admit it! Anyways, he made a post about how seo it going to leave and I think many of us have know this for some time now.

SEO is the old way to get a site ranked but as google continue to improve that will stop being the case.

SEO to this point has allowed people to spam the search engines into thinking they are something they really aren’t. Mostly through paid links and stuff of which I do not endorse in any way nor take part in.

My reasoning for this post is simple, I want to know what you all think of the seo future and how you think we will need to start ranking sites? I believe in time only through using legit techniques to get people linking to our blogs naturally will we really put a nail in the coffin on spammers.

What are you thoughts?

  1. I think the great equalizer is content. And if you have quality content and aggressive promotion and marketing, you will achieve high traffic. The spamming to achieve high SEO is fine for quick hits of income, but I would think that many/most are looking for a long haul cash cow of an online site/business. NO MATTER how much spamming you do, ultimately people will stop coming if you have no content or reason to visit at all.

As long as there is search engines there’ll always be SEO.

  4. Seo will change in the future especially targetting the democratic change on the net – social media especially :) But seo will never leave!

  5. Melvin says:

As what quadzilla of blackhat seo has been always saying, seo is like a web spam or maybe a lil synonymous with it. about your questions, i think seo will be better and won’t really close out as what shoe predicted.. thats based on my humble opinion

  6. Google has already taken action against this with the launch of there search wiki they are trying to get there customers to tell them which sites they like and which they don’t. I think th algorithms are going to change but you will still be able to game the new ones. I think it is just going to get harder and harder to rank – so get there while you can.

  7. I couldn’t agree more. But of course, SEO is not only aiming visitors and rankings on search engines, conversions that will lead to sales are what matter most!
